What To Do When You Are NOT Paid Wages For Hours Worked
Even though Oklahoma is not required to offer a lunch break for employees’ ages 16 and older, they are required to pay for hours that are worked. Also, if the company does offer the benefit of a lunch break, and it is in your employee handbook or contract, than you may be entitled to compensation even if you were paid for the hours worked.
- Wait. You employer must set regular pay dates within (11) days of the end of the pay period and have an additional 3 days after regularly scheduled pay date to issue payment.
